IDEA/CONCEPT

Exploring the tension between permanence and fluidity, the sculpture symbolizes how identities shift in a digital age.

EXECUTION & PROCESS

Resin was cast into layered forms, reinforced with steel, and illuminated with embedded LED strips to create a dynamic interplay of shadow and light.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

This piece challenged me to merge traditional sculptural methods with modern technology, pushing me to rethink how viewers interact with form.

Echoes in Motion is a sculptural installation that embodies the paradox of stability and transformation. The layered resin forms represent the permanence of cultural heritage, while the embedded LED strips introduce movement and fluidity, symbolizing the constant evolution of identity in a digital-first world. The process required balancing craftsmanship with experimentation, ensuring that the steel framework provided durability while the resin captured translucency. For me, this project was a turning point — it taught me that art can be both timeless and adaptive, a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
